What has your career path looked like?: I started my career in the retail sector moving through various positions from management to HR. Learning that I love the field of HR, I continued on however moving into the banking industry. I found myself in the learning and development aspect of the HR field in the banking industry on-boarding and teaching new hires from tellers to licensed bankers. Seeing the excitement of new hires starting a new chapter in their careers are what inspired me to land in the Talent Acquisition space.

What has your career path looked like?: I graduated from SUNY Oswego with a BA in Business Administration. I worked as a recruiter for a temp agency shortly after I graduated. I transitioned to Healthcare in 2002 and started at the company in October of that year. For the past 18 years, I have worked in recruitment, transitioning to Manager, Talent Acquisition in 2019.

What has your career path looked like?: I graduated from Boston College with a B.A. in Communication and focused studies in Psychology and Applied Psychology. Previously, I interned at the company in the Learning & Organizational Development team within Human Resources. In 2017, I was hired into the Office of Diversity & Inclusion and began overseeing the College Internship Program. Later in 2018, I transitioned to the Talent Acquisition team as the Intern Recruiter and began leading the Student Programs (College Internship Program and High School Internship Program) at the organization. At the start of 2020, I transitioned to the Talent Management team to continue leading Student Programs and also working on additional collaborative project across the Talent Acquisition team, the HR Business Partners, and the Employee Relations team.

What has your career path looked like?: I graduated from the University of Rochester with BAs in Mathematics and Economics and started off my career as an actuarial analyst calculating retirement benefits. After about 14 years, l transitioned my actuarial career into the healthcare world working as a Risk Adjustment Analyst for about two years. In 2017, I had the opportunity to engage more with the Finance Division as their Talent Management Consultant by planning learning events, creating a Finance blog and building employee morale. After a brief time of helping the Talent Acquisition Team, I became the Talent Acquisition Business Partner for the Finance and Strategic Business Program Divisions.

Why work here?: My husband has been working at the company since 2008, and after his repeated declarations that the culture was my style, I eventually believed him and became a part of the team in 2015. I have been so lucky to work with and engage with incredibly supportive leaders who truly want their employees to be in a position where not only they feel they are contributing to the overall good of the Company, but also where they feel they are learning and being challenged as an individual.

What has your career path looked like?: I graduated with a BS in Business Administration. I started my career as an Affordable Care Act Specialist, reporting and analyzing employer’s benefits. A few years later I switched gears to more of a Human Resources focus when I joined the company. I started here in Employee Relations and after a couple of years doing that I decided to join the amazing Talent Acquisition team!

What has your career path looked like?: I began with the company in October of 2005 as a Customer Care Advocate. During my 2 years in Customer Care I became a Senior Advocate, I handled calls for our Dedicated Service Units and so much more in between. An opportunity of becoming a Trainer for Customer Care in the Learning and Performance department opened up and I was granted the wonderful opportunity to train New Hires, Internal Employees in Customer Care as well as Internal Employees for other departments. I even spent time going out to our External Groups and training their staff on our systems and knowledge of our business and products. After 8 years in the Learning and Performance Department I then became a Supervisor for 4 years in the Call Center. During my time as Supervisor I lead a team of advocates who handled our Commercial and Dedicated lines of business while also handling our Social Media Inquiries. In 2019 I joined the Talent Acquisition team and it really has come full circle as I recruit for all of our external Customer Care entry level positions.

Why work here?: Personally for me I’ve been with the company and stayed with the company all based on the experience I’ve had. Since day one I have felt as if I am part of a team, but even more so a FAMILY. No matter where my path has taken me, my management has always been supportive of my growth and pointed out opportunities for me even when I didn’t even know it would be the right fit for me. I cannot thank all of the people that have helped guide and foster my development here at the company. What has your career path looked like?: I served 8 years in the United States Air Force working in the Hospital Administration field. I graduated from the Community College of the Air Force with an AA in Hospital Administration. The majority of my career has been spent in Hospital Administration, Worker’s Compensation and Human Capital Management. In March 2006 I joined Excellus BCBS. I started in Other Party Liability Claims department. In December 2009 I became an HR Coordinator and in June 2015 I became a Recruiter.

What has your career path looked like?: While taking classes towards my associates degree in Medical Office Management, I interned for an Employee Health Department. After graduation, I was hired into a prior company's Human Resources Department as a Human Resources Assistant. Over time the prior company merged with this company. Through each merger, I stayed focused working in Human Resources and building my skills set in obtaining my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration & Leadership Greater Syracuse class 2016. After 22 years working in Shared Services, I transferred to Talent Acquisition and enjoy focusing on recruiting top candidates.

What has your career path looked like?: I graduated from Brockport with a BS in Health Science. Worked in medical records and insurance for a year before transitioning to Healthcare Recruiting. I transitioned to Staffing Recruiting for a year before returning back to Healthcare recruiting in 2019 briefly before starting as a contract employee for the Talent Acquisition Team in May of 2019 and went permanent this past February of 2020!

Currently I am a Talent Acquisition Business Coordinator.
